Loyola Hall: Jesuit Spirituality Centre

2012 PROGRAMME

Loyola Hall Seminar with Brian O’Leary SJ

posted on March 1st, 2010

Each year, Loyola Hall offers a weekend seminar related to the art of spiritual accompaniment — especially for people involved in the work of spiritual direction, retreat giving, and the Spiritual Exercises. In fact, first and foremost it is part of the ongoing formation of the Loyola Hall Team and our Team Associates.

This year, 16th – 18th April, the seminar — “Foundational Values in the Spiritual Exercises” — will be given by Fr. Brian O’Leary, SJ.

photo of Brian O Leary SJBrian, an Irish Jesuit, has worked in Ignatian spirituality for many years and in many countries. He has been on the staff of the Jesuit Centre of Spirituality at Manresa, Dublin, and was an Associate Professor of Spirituality at the Milltown Institute. He brings a blend of pastoral experience and academic competence as his work continues to explore both the history of the Ignatian tradition and its modern expressions.

The Seminar will include talks from Brian, small-group discussion, and plenary workshops as participants both receive input and share their own experience and insight. We try to cater for all levels of previous experience and expertise. If you are interested please book online.
