Later this week Stephen Hoyland and Matthew Power SJ from the Loyola Hall team will be facilitating the Annual Conference of Chaplains of Catholic Sixth-form Colleges being held at Hinsley Hall, Leeds.

The theme is ‘Discernment in the Spirit’ and will introduce the chaplains to aspects of Ignatian spirituality with sessions on discernment, the examen, and decision making. 17 participants are expected, coming from 13 Sixth-form Colleges in England and Wales. Matthew and Stephen can each speak from their experience of working both as chaplains and in Ignatian spirituality.

Stephen is right now in Keele University with other members of the Loyola Hall team giving a Week of Guided Prayer to students and staff. Matthew, meanwhile, has been working away as Vocations Director for the British Jesuits.
